church camp and dad

life was hectic, dis three weeks, a chain of events left me exhausted and kept me on my toes.
21st nov, went chalet, den skating
23rd to 25th of nov, choir camp
25th to 2nd dec, intensive choir
3rd dec,concert( which was a doozy)
6th dec to now, church camp
whew! i dun noe whether to b happy or sad,abt the fun camp or abt the news of dad. i was just told tt dad's operation failed. he was supposed to b shelduled for an op to get a stone out of his liver. but the wound got infected, den now the whole thing was called off to give him time to recuperate. today, dingyi lao shi told me and my siblings tt NOW the doctors discovered tt there is water in his lungs, so they will have to pump the water out, because he has breathing difficulties....i dunno wat to think...sad, the three of us kept crying la....i mean, everyone keeps telling me tt dis is a a SMALL operation, nthg will go wrong, but the stone op was a "small " one too, and it went v wrong.....
aw, so dis is too sudden, after the romantic campfire one the rooftop the night before the camp ended....i dunno...my first youth camp, it was fun and challenging( mentally) as i'm in the most "diverse" group, and its hard to communicate the same thing to a 20 yr old and a 12 year old.
watever, although i felt a bit left out, its ok i guess, cuz i only started knowing them on the first day of camp. i mean, they have already formed cliques in my absence of three years from youth fellowship.
i must really thank God i have yingshan to confide in, or i'll break fr stress or something.haha, we chatted til abt 3 in the morn after the campfire.
den today, the devasting news came....
shock
i guess dis is God's way of telling me to trust in him, after all ,he holds our lives in his hands, also ,its another way of his to tell me tt i need him.
oh well...my eyes r swollen like some sort of petrified pufferfish....i better get some sleep...tonight we're go to Alexandra to see dad....i just hope all goes well
maybe there is a reason, tt my grp name in church camp is called "hope"
hoping.....
p.s, to yansin, i'm sorry, i cant go cip tonight, i've got to go hospital, i noe u probably have lotsa to say abt ur trip to Macau...but i cant hear it tonight.....really sorry ah. perhaps sat ba
