the 365th day of 2011,
although it just seemed like just another normal year at first flance
its been a rocky year with a lot of highs and lows.
i spent about 5 minutes browsing through my facebook album and was delighted to be able to jog back alot of long lost memories . that's what i really love about the power of photographs. It preserves that very precise moment and brings back those precious memories of you and your loved ones.

Jan
3rd jan : came back a little heartbroken from paris, but immensely inspired.

11th jan : started Roxanne's Paperie

februrary:
-celebrated tim's birthday, attended sharyl's birthday party
-had my very first flea in SIM for Roxanne's Paperie
-met up with wansing, yuan yuan to make video for cat who's in USA

-photoshoot with siwei and sonia at sentosa's flower fest
fengsoon brought me around singapore, jurong hill, mount faber etc.

March
went HK with yansin

April:
Major mugging session underway

May
4th May: Met Dennis for the first time
UOL exam period ;(
visited seaside house with dennis ( happy photoshoot!)

June
4th June : got attached :)
went HK with cat and Tim!!
worked in sunflower for the last time before it closed.
went clubbing for the first time, ( and prob last time)
Macbeth under the stars at fort canning!
ate sashimi,swordfish and otoro for the first time .. ( not too bad if fresh! )

July - September
Internship with Alldealsasia
B1A4, attended my first rock concert for FREE! ( thanks wansing! )

Its been quite a full , busy year for my business and myself.

Not bad at all :)
studies, tuition and juggling my social life and my business at once :)

i've got high hopes for 2012,
m going to change my priorities a bit with exams coming up

and define what's impt and close to my heart.

christmas eve 2011

the worst of my christmas period engagements seems to be over!
I'm not so sure how i survived yesterday
went to teach tuition at 9-11, headed off to school 12-6.30, met dennis and went for alldealsasia's company christmas party at about 7.30 in jalan sultan , their new office ( which dennis introduced to them)
Thereafter heading off to meryl's 21st birthday party at about 9.30 and DEN went for sherlock holmes midnight movie at 11.30... pfffttt


really really long day ! and it didnt help that i was partially intoxicated after the ada's christmas party where i was made to drink lots of nasty tasting stuff, cuz dennis was driving and he cant drink much .

we extricated ourselves from the ada party at about 9 pm citing we need to go for another party, and i stumbled out the venue in my suddenly-too-high heels

had to lean on D all the way.
i guess this must be the only time i drank a little above my usual threshold limit, so was feeling dizzy , and clumsy.
I refused to let my brain shutdown though my speech started becoming a little incoherent already.
i'm so so bad with alcohol, 4 shots and i'm almost out

reached meryl's party at about 9.45 pm at grand copthorne hotel .

met jitmin and his ex girlfriend, and tee yien brought us up to the rooms.

party and phototaking was in full swing.
i must say i enjoyed myself there.
cuz there was no more alcohol there * yesh!! *
and dennis had forced me to drink down at least 1.5 litres of water after we had left ada, so i was feeling a little more clear headed and in control.

had a bit of the hello kitty birthday cake , signed a few birthday wishes card and talked to sim friends.

didnt realize that dennis's headache was taking its toll on him til it became quite bad,
quickly excused ourselves along with eileen , johnathan and amanda and went on our way to tiong bahru :)

dennis felt better after popping panadol thankfully , though the theatre was quite cold and i forgot to take out my jacket :(( i guess alcohol was still in my system and i felt sleepy throughout the show. The show was quite intellectual, witty and brillant, someone fell asleep at the back though , i guess due to the lack of action :)

i'm secretly happy that i could follow the pace of the movie though i'm half awake.


just for info sake, what will happen if you mix alcohol and panadol together ?

woke up at 12 today and took my own sweet time in doing things :)
it feels good not to do anything for the whole day after a jam packed day...

and yay!

Tim is finally back from cambodia :)

cant wait to " press" him for more details on his holidays :)

Wansing will be back within weeks too!

2012 is coming fast and furious , i need to get ready for it

and also ... my studies , which has been woefully neglected...

needs to be picked up again.

a little tired recently

i think i overpacked myself this week in a sudden zeal to escape lonliness.

met cat tonight at orchard
meeting fengsoon tomorrow for muppets
thursday reserved for D and for studies
friday going to salsa concert after class at 7 pm
saturday meeting shangz and chin soon
sunday, may be meeting cat again for puss in boots or something else.
tuitioning the little kiddies every weekday.. zzzz ( yay! getting my pay tomorrow :) )

hmmm, lets see, i've been recieving an influx of orders from the flea of late

-thats still the 8 orders i need to do for dennis
-1 caricature order for slyvester ( draft sent, approved, inking to be done asap)
-1 new caricature order for sarah, to be printed on bag, money to come in on wed
-1 potential anniversary for jenna depicting a wolf, ( negotiating )
-1 potential christmas gift for Kenny ( negotiating)

i din miss anything out did i ?

i need to finish up at least 1/2 of dennis's orders this week,
finish up slyvester's order and mail it out pronto
get draft for sarah's caricature out in time for printing at the studio.

i'll study next week..

somehow during the peak periods, the orders keep coming in .
i guess i've to sacrifice my studies for a week, >.< i need to pick things up again after christmas...

so do not disturb me from 27-30, i'll be mugging non stop this 4 days.


i will be taking a hiatus for about 3 weeks, to rethink my business model and try out new things.
hopefully by valentine day will have new stocks and improved products.

i've thought things through , and am feeling more self assured after the long talk with tim yesterday.
Mostly of me ranting, and him listening, but after all that ranting, it did help me to see the entire picture more clearly.

now ;) i'm happy
whatever things may happen, i'll handle them with as much dignity and composure as possible :)

it really is a classic example of " its always about the small things "
things really blew out of proportion this time around, and i play a part in the blame game too.

i miss him .

i really need to get some new essentials before the new year starts

1) a comfortable pair of black/nude coloured basic pumps
2) 925 silver crystal earstuds, ( my old ones have rusted, i guess the silver plating has worn off , cant seem to find cheap ones below $10? )
3) lingerie.. ( i cant stress this enough ...time to change, and good ones dun come cheap.. * crack open money bank*)
4) powder pact ( i've been dragging on this for too long, it never seems important til you really need it and dun have it ! )

i'll try and finish up the drafts, inking and caricature orders by tomorrow.
will wake up earlier to brainstorm dennis's orders on friday morning

the teachers are moving through the chapters at an insane pace.
even though i try to study twice a week for a full day each time, its hardly enough ..
kinda on tenterhooks, especially for my marketing module
its so content intensive , and next week there's a test coming up
wanna clear the orders ASAP
so i can start studying full speed for 3-4 consecutive days..
