I'm Sure God has a plan
i should just be patient and wait for the plan to unfold.
however if the plan happens to be no plan at all, please give me the courage to exit

its been a really long time since i blogged..
and i'm really quite distressed now.
i really do hope i'm making the right choice.
and you ask me why i'm so insecure
its cuz of the way things are.
i wish i din give a damn
i wished i dun care
but i do, and sadly, it really disturbs me to a whole new level.
i'm sorry.
without all this, there would be a better shot at whatever we have/had.
now i'm just lying to myself that its gonna be a short term thing
a luxury
an indulgence.
how much more of this can i handle ?
i know what you're secretly and selfishly hoping for
and i know that you know what i'm secretly and selfishly hoping for.
the law of non-contradiction
in essential they are two vastly different concepts and cant be merged.
its either asking me to deny all , or embrace all
there is no middle ground .
sadly for this ..
in all other things there may be a grey spot in which we can find refuge.

i'm in quite an extremely grateful mood.
though the last week may be very turbulent, things have gotten a little calmer.
basking in my own dream worlds of spirited-away esque atmosphere and tim burton's quirky-ness.
sales may not be good for my notebooks, but things are moving once again.
i have 2 pending orders, 2 orders in progress, and 1 more order pending talks
am currently busy with preparing for my big debut at singapore heritage festival
preparing my notebooks, my website, my mailing list and my online catalog and portfolio.
hmmm, still enjoying life at the moment.
going for steamboat reunion tml and dim sum buffet on wed.
getting so fat!
need to run run run!
God has been good to me.
Thanks be to someone who suddenly popped up out of nowhere.
you have taught me how to adjust to changes, taught me how to master my own feelings, all by just being yourself.
hahaha! sounding older and older by the day.
having an extremely open heart and light-hearted view towards my business.
i believe that it is definitely unique and i'm determined not to commit the same mistake as a lot of of my fellow hand-made artists commit.
-which is to focus on the craft so much that they neglect the consumers- in terms of pricing and in terms of art/practicality
-people may like your stuff a lot but they will not buy.
-my aim is to : merge mass market together with art.
merge practicality with style
i WANT t0 make this my career. maybe not immediately, but eventually.
and i guess i just need to keep tweaking. i'm really glad i started early.
i'm not sure why and how i started this business, but i'm glad i did.
it all just started when i came back from paris. i was rather enthralled by paris to be honest, and even though i came back for quite a while, there's just something there that grabs my heart and holds it tight where it counts. even i cant tell what about the culture has me so mesmerized.
perhaps i'm just a romantic at heart.
still i write this in a very grateful mood ;)
i'm proud of my own achievements and m aware of the long road ahead. but i have the people i need around me, my friends, family and loved ones. and of course without doubt, God.
whatever comes, come at me man!! i know what i'm in for ;)
i just love drawing so much i cant stop!
