farewell came and went
it was a tearful one, the seniors did a really good job with the video..
lots of ppl cried, i'll miss them a lot, i'm also a lil petrified at the idea of us singing by ourselves.
what's amazing was, i learnt a new thing today:
there is no extent to thoughtful giving

the seniors' gifts were all handmade and to me its like whoa, and i've been complaining for so long
well...but the pictures were damn hard, esp since u end at abt six everyday and reach home at seven, and have to draw til midnight..but well, that;s not the point
the moment i've been watiting for!
the senoirs were happy, thats all that matters

sops we gave them red frames with an "s" block on it, with a photo of our stint at hilton hotel.
altos bought an $8 bag, a plain white bag and decorated it for their own seniors, and its really professional and all, they included some coffee and panadol
tenors gave them a shirt with a pic of a toilet sign man on it, to show that tenors are real man too(ppl say they're sissy cuz can reach high notes, man are they totally wrong)
basses gave them a shirt, with B in front, and Absolute Solid Sound behind (ass) get it?cuz basses fart a lot.
wee

sops senoirs gave us a sops shirt each and a stack of cards in which every senior wrote something to us. also we got a choir survival kit from wanling, which includes sharpener, pencils, notebook, markers and eraser :)

altos gave them a silver bag with matching ribbon with sweets, shappener, and corsage boxes among other stuff.they also had a personalised water bottle.
tenors gave them (cant remember will get back to it)
basses made a jigsaw where all the j1's get a piece of it.the peices say basses 0708 :)

yea, the choir men, gave the girls their own album, with personalised glossy printed book to each girl with exculisve footage of all the choir men with inside quotations that we, the j1's dun get it. :0 so sweet! also there's cd attached to the book behind with all their songs recorded.

haha, and the girls gave them a racer tee that says," i'm tough and buff....with 17^choir ladies behind me."

so, batch gift, we gave them black umbrellas with their names written on it. to recieve God's blessings :)

tears flowed freely when they started singing "solerum"
it was so touching..
i'll really miss them
now i realise i've wonderful seniors but i only knew it on the day they were leaving :(

the j2s also made individual diaries for the teachers.they bought paper and cut it themselves and printed and laminated all the pages inside, and drew the boxes and dates with pictures and quotes every alternate page ;) its real thick and wonderful. the picures co-rresponded to the monthsthe events took place it. m really sppechless le.
also, they made decks of cards for the teachers each, with the kings and queens with the teachers photos on them, and the numbers cards, have all the pictures of the j2s..
even the box is hand drawn by jane and printed and folded. O.O

yea, so after farewell, we went to artikulation,an mep 10th anniversary concert.it was so so ba.. but we get to talk and interact more with the seniors and i had fun!

yea, so its a pretty good day.i'll miss them..
:(

AND SO WITHOUT FURTHER ADO, i can finally post my pictures here, the cards have been given out. :) its quite high resolution, so it takes awfully long to donwload, and its late, or should i say early now, so i'll upload a few first. :)
