this has been a strange year

i find myself developing new interests that did not intrigue me in the least last time.
for exmaple classy lace clothes which i've previously scorned at.( lace? i mean who wears lace at this age? its all minidresses and bf shirts)
and now two more wants to my list,
sweeney todd dvd


and sarah brightman's symphony


lols, this will be my first time buying music
i dun buy music for i find it stupid.

the music that i like are classical pieces and can be easily downloaded off the net, cuz its not really in demand and its not really marketable.

so haha, first time i'm buying commercial dvds and cd albums
strange year indeed.

i've bought dvds before but mostly are classified as asian productions.
i only own 2 at the moment. the king and the clown from south korean and howl's moving castle from japan.

cant wait to hear sarah brightman sing and watch jonny depp commit his murders. i'm 18 le haha, so can watch it already.

its been a really fun birthday for me

not by others' standards.
spending my birthday sweating, cooking satay and staying up to play monopoly at my friend's house while waiting for the funfair food to cook.

but they're new experiences, however the best part is, i'm no longer alone every birthday
there are ppl with me on my birthday. yan, my mom, my aunt, and the whole of acjc, haha, with me
so its ok. an any unsatisfaction by the lack of conventional birthday staple such as balloons, gifts and pampering are dulled by the sheer amount of work to do on pre funorama day.
so yeah, really happy
and yan popped into sch to see me with his surprise which made it all the more sweeter :)
now i've realise i've recieved the least items of presents this year but they're all meaningful ones, like the video my friend made in commemoration of our friendship, that was really touching,and the self made digital card yan made.
it reeks of effort and i'm really happy, who cares abt physical gifts? its the effort that counts ;)
and i thank my class for the wonderful prima deli cake, and no, we din get food posioning:)


all in all, thank you God for letting me live this wonderful 18 years :)

i've decided what i want for my 21st birthday
an osim full body massage chair
best if foldable
haha
unless it comes along with a free storeroom as well :P
i seriously ned a massage chair, or maybe a live in free masseur.
for that much needed massage 24/7 to aid those aching muscles.


plus my mom can use it too, so it'll be damn worth it dun u think ? XD 2 f0r 1
