books i've been reading
~what i'm up to during the sept hols :)

i've just read these three books yesterday ;) twilight was amazing! now i know why its made it to the best selling list, and whats better is, i borrowed the next 3 books in the saga today! i cant wait to sink my teeth into them :) (sorry abt the pun, this series is on vampires :) )
haven read in a long looonnng time haha, i missed the joy of reading, i've forgotten the escape and relief that books bring, but yesterday all the experience came back ;)
i read the lacemaker and the princess, which is this wonderful and imaginative narrative on the clashes between the lives of two very different girls, and it also touches lightly on the "born into your position" view. needs a bit of history to understand the details on revolution better, but i absolutely love the victorian/historia narrative genre.
breathe is a book i wouldnt have touched by myself, but mr lee highly recommended it, althought it looks like a children's book,(yes there are pictures and the type of the word is relatively huge) the way in which the author portrayed and described the ghost were really eerie. it seemed really humanely, the expressions and reactions of the child ghosts who were trapped in a house by this deranged female ghost who went mad after pinning the guilt of the death of her only child on herself.
the way the author described how she fed off the soul-energy of the children were graphic and a little disturbing. of cuz its not too explicit like a good author whot write so, the phrases are fast and flowing and subtle enough for u to understnad what's going on, and realise to your horror what the ghost mother is doing ( thats what the woman is called in the book )
a fascinating read.held me spell bound.

and now ta da! introducing the rest of the twilight saga, i'm really excited, and cant wait to start reading. there's something scary abt me, if i'm really excited abt a book, i can read it in a sitting, that's what happened during the harry potter craze. XD
i read twilight in 5 hours, lace maker and the princess in 2 hours and breathe in 2.5 hours. XD
what's scary is the next 3 books are deliciously fat and enticing. which means i could be up all night polishing them off :)
during reading, i wont move from my spot, except to turn the pages continously, i wont eat, drink or watever, its quite scary, just ask my mom :P

and pendragon book 9 is out!
gonna grab it soon
and keys to the kindom: superior saturday is out!
and the newest book of the edge chronicles is out as well..
haha
busy busy busy hols.. XD
i so love prelims, cuz ITS OVER!!! XD
