a happier outlook.

its a relief not to quarrel everyday or not to feel tensed after seeing his messages/ or lack of messages..

petty little idiotic things. if this is r/s, den i dun want it lols.

not in any order at all :

1) Paris trip!
- my luggage is ready, my clothes, gear, reseach are ready.
the parcels i had ordered 2 months ago are steadily streaming in one after the other.
oh how i love opening parcels!
feel like a little girl :0
opens post box, see parcels with your name!
so exciting :)

i'm proud of myself.
first trip that i had paid for everything by myself.
iphone paid by myself,
insurance, luggage, winter clothes, air tickets, passport renewals, getting my visa debit card acredited and approved.. blah blah,
all done by myself ;)
sometimes i still feel young, haha, when i accomplish " adult " things like that, cant help but be surprised that i actually managed them well! XD

i cant begin to say the months of torture and heartache i had sacrificed for this paris trip.
start from july, after i had known wayne.
i was obsessed with numbers, calculating and re-calculating my daily budget, my weekly budget, my proposed weekly work schedule, estimated salary...
my spenditure, estimated allowance for france, estimated allowance for buying winter clothes and luggages..

mad crazy. ..
and thats just the planning ..
i had no idea if i could pull through., but i did!
i couldnt tell you how relieved i felt when i finally placed my order for the air tickets..

was eating $2 rice everyday in a bid to save money.
sometimes one meal a day..
yes i was that desperate to go to paris.
what for i cant tell, just filled with this mad, insane desire that I MUST GO !

looking at travel blogs almost every night and looking through winter catalogues. reading up on travel magazines..
lols man ..
i'm crazy right ?

i can say its the first thing in my life that i'm very sure i want, so i went for it full force.

so ,finally got my pay, squeezed myself dry, went online to zuji to order.
met another snag. my visa debit bounced, i was so scared my money was lost you know.. i'll just sit on the floor and cry.

first time in my life calling those support numbers, got through to an operator and realized that my spending limit is set at $1000 per day, so i pleaded with her to help me NOW , because i have no time to wait.. air tickets might rise, and i had been monitoring the prices like an obsessed person for 2 weeks, as frequent as 4 times a day...

she did, and i punched in my card's number, and its DONE .

relief.

now, i'm pretty much relaxed.
parcels are just coming in ..
all i need to get are good sturdy locks and luggage tags now.
i wont risk baggage losses.

excited! my virgin overnight trip :)
by myself.. hope i dun screw up the boarding passes, but looking back, i should be able to handle it haha, should trust myself more.

Paris! it will be great.

because I WILL NOT LET MYSELF WALLOW
I HAVE EARNED AND DESERVED THIS TRIP
NO ONE SHALL STAND IN THE WAY OF ME ENJOYING IT !

and finally , i'm getting my fred perry bag! Tim has really kindly given it to me for free!

3) Christmas!

how can i forget it
there's no reason to forgo it just because i'm in paris
need to start making my present list ,and make cards and cookies and so on !

so many things to do :)

i've gotten some of my closest friend's presents already ! :) cant wait to pass them before i leave.

need to find chance to meet all of them one by one :)

4) Nutcracker musical at UCC 26th november , 8 pm ! :)

5) Sociology test this friday...

need to get up early to study tomorrow
no choice :(

i need to maintain my grades at the top of the class!
for that is the only way i will accept myself to be.
be the best i can at every situation.

i know i have not tried my best yet.
it could be better ;)
so i'm not satisfied.

5) meeting up with shang zhi and chin soon next week for harry potter!
my best 2 secondary school guy friends!

6) meeting wansing again after so long !

next thursday and friday and evening going to dinner with them, i'll prob go salsa again after that :)

Russian dolls!
i regretted no buying russian dolls from amsterdam when i stopped over there 4 years back on my choir trip.
the demand for it in singapore is pretty good :)
